What size phone does RAM X grip fit? ›

Available for phones of all sizes and tablets ranging from 7” to 12” in size, the RAM^® X-Grip^® cradle secures your device while keeping it completely functional and accessible. No matter what mounting base you pair the RAM^® X-Grip^® with, the RAM^® ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability.

To get the best use out of your RAM X-Grip®, it is recommended to adhere rubber caps to the steel arms using provided adhesive solution for extra security. Cut the tip of the adhesive stick to access, apply a small amount of adhesive to the inside of the cap as shown, and immediately reattach to the steel arm.

The most popular phones feature a wide gamut of RAM sizes. At one end you have some of the best Android phones with as much as 12GB, 16GB, and even 24GB of RAM. On the other hand, budget phones have variants with just 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the middle ground is packed with lots of devices with 6GB and often 8GB of RAM.

RAM generations are not forward or backward compatible. For example, if your system was designed for DDR4 technology, it won't be able to support DDR5 modules. There are a couple ways to determine which DDR generation your motherboard uses.

RAM is typically purchased in sets of two or four modules (for example, “2x16GB” or “4x8GB”). Before buying a kit, check to see how many memory slots your motherboard has. Desktops typically have four slots, while laptops usually have two.
