Hi. I have multiple ccid errors around the lighting system. I don’t think any bulbs are out. Could it be a computer problem? Thanks

Have you changed your bulbs for led recently? I have the same issue I think you’ll find that if they are not canbus error free you’ll get the error every time unless you change back to original bulbs or you can buy a kit off eBay to clear the error which plugs directly into the bulb loom ??

I have error code CC-ID 447
The hardtop convertible roof got stuck halfway with all windows down.
I have managed to manually got the roof back up and closed the locks on the roof, but I can not get the windows back up.
The roof is still showing as a fault on the dashboard display and giving the error code as CC-ID 447
Can anyone suggest what the error code is or how to get the windows up?
P.S. I have checked all the roof and window fuses, they were all fine.

Hi Yommy,
If you’ve upgraded your rear lights to LED then sometimes the CANBus system on your vehicle will display an error stating the bulb is out when it isn’t.
We have an in-depth guide on how to solve CANBus errors.

Hi Alastair,
We’ve contacted BMW and they said to check with a local dealership.
The dealerships we spoke to all said to bring the vehicle in for testing which would indicate the following:
1) They either don’t know and need to find out for themselves
2) They do not want to tell us

Hi Faisal,
CC-ID 447 appears to be a hardtop malfunction. It’s advised to take your BMW to a specialist if you’re unsure on what to do or how to resolve the error.
